Branson’s Nantucket travel tips

By Branson's Nantucket • May 19th, 2010

For travelers who have children, a holiday can be a sacred time and Branson’s Nantucket agrees with that. This is a time when the family can spend the day together. The kids have been waiting to be with the parents, and the parents now are free of work and the distractions that are so present during the normal week. Vacations allow parents to concentrate, be present and available for the children.

Branson’s Nantucket has seen many families traveling and has come up with some tips to help you enjoy your holiday when traveling with your family.

First of all, Branson’s Nantucket says when you plan to go to your vacation home for example, the trip should be broken up into small sections. Limit your road time to 5-6 hours a day and you will be saving yourself a lot of stress.  Branson’s Nantucket recommends you plan the trip this way, because this will help your children relax and have fun. Some children can’t sit in the car for long periods of time. Many adults can, but children find it very difficult.  Breaking the road trip into small sections will help you stay fresh and have time to play with your children. They need your attention. A good traveling day ends with a lot of laughs and a good night’s sleep.

When you decide to break the trip into smaller sections, Branson’s Nantucket recommends that you plan and think about where you will spend the night. Since you will have a stop a night before your final destination, Branson’s Nantucket recommends packing separately. A separate piece of luggage can contain the bare minimum for that single night. This is helpful because it will prevent you from needing to carry the full luggage into the hotel on that first night. Besides, you will have to unpack to find all your items for that first night. This will end up being a big hassle, and the smile you have had all day will disappear and everyone will be unhappy. It isn’t worth it.

Branson’s Nantucket has thought about you and your family having fun all day long, and for that it’s better to start your holiday relaxed.
